The Ludlow CARES Coalition is pleased to announce that the 2017 Citizen of the Year is Patricia Gregoire!
This award is given annually to a member of the community who volunteers his or her time to the town of Ludlow and is passionate about the CARES mission. Pat Gregoire does all of this and more. Pat has been a member of the Ludlow CARES Coalition since its inception. She is an advisory board member, volunteer and lead contact at many events, often bringing along her entire family to help out. Pat manages all of CARES social media and last year, Pat created the CARES webpage, which proved to be a mammoth undertaking. She works quietly behind the scenes making sure Ludlow CARES is providing important updates, news and event information to our community.
Pat has also volunteered her time for numerous issues that impact children and families. She is one of the organizers of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life in Ludlow, a position she has held since this highly successful fundraiser began in town. In addition, Pat served for six years on the Ludlow School Committee, and she has been an active parent volunteer for the Ludlow High School Cross Country and Track Teams.
CARES will be formally presenting this award to Pat on Monday October 23rd during our Red Ribbon Week event.
In the meantime, please join us in congratulating her on this well deserved recognition!
Thank you, Pat, for your dedication to the mission of Ludlow CARES Coalition and to the Ludlow Community!
